Rite of Ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons & Rites of Christian Initiation
We invite you to special Liturgy at Philadelphia Cathedral.
On Saturday, June 5 at 10 AM, by the grace of God The Rt. Rev. Rodney R. Michel Assisting Bishop, Diocese of Pennsylvania will preside at the Rites of Initiation and will join with The Rt. Rev. Edward L. Lee, Jr. Assisting Bishop Diocese of Pennsylvania in the Ordinations of Randy Callender and Michel Giansiracusa, Jr. to the sacred Order of Deacons in Christ’s One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
The Rites of Christian Initiation will also take place. Dr. Fredrica Harris Thompsett, Mary Wolfe Professor Emerita of Historical Theology, Episcopal Divinity School will be the Homilist.
Free parking is available at the lot on the corner of 38th & Market Streets. (Entrance on 39th Street)
A recepton will follow in the garden.
