The Rev. Canon Tyrone Fowlkes, Canon for Congregational Life Rev. Tyrone Fowlkes is our Cathedral Canon for Congregational Life. The Rev. Fowlkes is entering his fourteenth year of the priesthood, having served parish and cathedral communities in Indianapolis, Chicago, Oakland, San Francisco, and Raleigh-Durham. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in theology and the arts at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. His background weaves together experiences in the arts, social justice, and spirituality. Through worship, formation, and pastoral care, he works to nurture and empower others and to help them realize their God-given capacity for leadership. Across the spectrum of his ministry interests, the Rev. Fowlkes has fostered welcome and inclusion for diverse communities, as well as concern for the poor and marginalized.
