Mission Statement
The arts are a vital means of human expression which enhance,
supplement, and even transcend our spirituality, and Philadelphia
Cathedral is home to a growing community of artists and artisans whose
work deepens the understanding of our faith.
Arts at the Philadelphia Cathedral includes exhibitions of contemporary art and permanent installations in the Cathedral, and
the Artist-in-Residence program which provides a year-long Studio Residency to local visual artists. These programs are complemented by lectures, art classes for children, and other events.
