SECOND ANNUAL MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION: The exhibition will be open
weekdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and runs through
January 6, 2008. Exhibiting artists include Zarouhie Abdalian, Victoria
Bartling, Herman DeJong, Gerard DiFalco, Ron Funk, Richard
Giles, Rachel Mai Tran, Sheila McKenna and Anne Minich.

Advent
Lessons & Carols:As we wait in
joyful anticipation of Christ’s coming, you are invited to an Advent Service of
Lessons and Carols with the Philadelphia Cathedral Singers directed by Riyehee Hong. This service of prayer
and music will reflect on and celebrate the mystery of the Advent season with
music by G. P. da Palestrina, Michael Praetorius, John
Rutter, C. V. Stanford, and Philip Wilby.
Soprano soloists Pauline Sachar and Noelle
McMurtry and flutist Lisa Davis will also perform. A reception will follow.

Choral Concert: PHILADELPHIA CHAMBER CHORUS was founded in 1951 by
Dr. William Reese of Haverford College. For more than fifty years, it
has presented sacred and secular music from all periods in history. Its
activities encourage, foster and promote a wider and deeper
appreciation of music, with particular emphasis on the outstanding
choral literature of the past and present. Raquel Garcia, Artistic
Director. This Holyday Concert will feature Mendelssohn’s Lauda Sion,
Finzi’s Et in Terra Pax and seasonal music.

Chamber Music Concert: EUROPEAN EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE

Thanksgiving Service: Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale, Jeffery
Smith, Artistic Director. Our third annual traditional Thanksgiving
Service with Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale is here again. Please
come to the service to renew our thankfulness to our God and our
community.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18 AT 5PM
Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: Our fourth annual Interfaith
Thanksgiving Service will be held at 5pm. Renouned Philadelphia based
interfaith choir, Common Ground, and Sharon Grainer, the Cantor at Beth
Zion-Beth Istael is joing to celebrate. Join this service as another
way to remember and express our blessings on earth.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT 2PM
Veterans Serivce: A Special Service for Veterans and their families
on the day at Armistice ending World War I was signed. The service
begins at 2pm with a reception following the service.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16
Art Exhibition: Renowned artist Anne Minich, our Cathedral Member is
giving an exhibition of her art work in conjunction to the POST. The
exhibition will present her works on paper and paintings of the
landscape and plane series. The exhibition starts on Sunday, October 14
and the reception will be on Sunday, October 28 starting at 12:30pm
until 5pm.

Choral Concert: CANTICLE FESTIVAL Third Liturgical Festival concert
series by Philadelphia Cathedral Singers lead by Riyehee Hong, the
Director of Music and the Arts; come and listen to the liturgical music
in the urban monastic space. Liturgical Music by composers of today and
yesterday; M. Bevil, N. White, R. Fabian, G. Burgon, D. Pearson,
Benjamin Britten, J-A. Guilan, and C.Bernhard.

Choral Concert: VOORHEES COLLEGE CONCERT CHOIR & MALE ENSEMBLE
Historic African-American College Concert Choir performs to support
vital educational and outreach programs of local churches. The
twenty-five member Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Rosemary
Griffin, Music Instructor, Voorhees College, and Accompanist, Mr.
Claude Eugene Pinson, Visiting Professor of Music.
