The mission of the Cathedral Singers is to create a vibrant musical spirit at the Philadelphia Cathedral. We are an all-volunteer group which supports the liturgy from within the congregation. We participate in the Sunday worship by singing anthems, leading psalms and supporting the congregational singing.

We extend our ministry beyond the Sunday liturgy by collaborating with area musicians in annual events, such as the fall liturgical festival, an Advent service of Lessons and Carols, and the spring Cathedral festival.

Our repertoire includes multicultural hymns and songs, chant, polyphony, and new compositions.

We always welcome new members. Pre-requisites are ability to read music, a pleasing voice, and a strong commitment to the schedule of rehearsals and services.
