Cathedral Arts Lenten Exhibition
The Stations of the Cross
Jerry DiFalco's Stations of the Cross, a gift from the late artist to the Cathedral, are multi-media works that employ found objects and historic photos to focus our meditation on the events of Good Friday. They are on display in the Cathedral each year from Ash Wednesday to Easter.
DiFalco - Christ
The Stations of the Cross is a meditational tool depicting fourteen scenes that unfolded in Christ’s life on the day of His crucifixion and death. These visual art works – used in prayer and spiritual reflection – are expressed using many types of media and genres, including sculpture, wall-relief, painting, printmaking, weaving, and photo/digital process.
