Embracing Our Past, Reimagining Our Future Timeline

We reflect on our shared history as we strive to become beloved community.  To help us better understand as a congregation how our church community has been an actor in the complext racial history of our city, we have created this timeline.  It traces the history of our church from its beginning in 1850, as a parish formerly known as The Church of the Saviour, until today, as it serves as the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.  A hard copy version of the timeline is displayed on a full wall of the Liem Azar Center.  We invite your reflections on this community project.
